NOHS senior Austin Rice puts up a jumper during the Warriors' win over Bloomfield Friday night.

Austin Rice canned 21 points in the Warriors’ four point win over the Bloomfield Bees on the home floor, Friday, Dec. 14.

Head Coach Ethan Larsen said Rice and Isiac Kurpgeweit were key for the team under the net, both offensively and defensively.

Kurpgeweit dumped in 14 pt. for the win and senior Beau Murray tallied 16.

Kurpgeweit grabbed 12 rebounds and Rice snagged 10.

Murray was perfect from the free throw line with four and had five steals.

The team got into foul trouble early, but Larsen said he was proud of the guys and how they handled the adversity. “We had a couple sophomores step up in key moments and old guys slip into some roles they haven’t been in in a while. Overall, our team got better tonight and we look forward to some rest before we start our holiday tournament after Christmas.”

Really proud of the boys and how they handled adversity tonight. We had some foul trouble early on and dealt
