An ATV accident early Wednesday morning resulted in life-threatening injuries to a 60-year-old Brunswick man.

The Antelope County Sheriff's office said Timothy M Knuth was driving a Honda 4-wheeler northwest of the Highway 14/20 junction when it rolled.

The 911 call came in at 7:16 a.m. from a neighbor who was driving 1/4 mile north of the intersection at 521 Avenue and 868 Road . The neighbor came upon the scene and found Knuth lying on the side of the road and the 4-wheeler in the ditch.

Knuth was transported by Orchard Fire and Rescue to Avera Creighton Hospital in Creighton, Neb., and then air-lifted to a trauma center in Sioux City, Iowa.

The Antelope County Sheriff's office investigated the accident.
